The Medical City Iloilo is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room (ER) Nurse who will play a critical role in delivering timely, life-saving care to patients in urgent and critical conditions. What's the Role All About?

The Emergency Room Nurse is responsible for providing immediate, competent, and patient-centered nursing care in emergency and trauma situations. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Deliver prompt and accurate nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
• Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and prioritization based on severity of condition.
• Assist physicians during emergency procedures, resuscitation, and critical interventions.
• Monitor patient status closely and respond effectively to sudden changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions according to hospital protocols and physician orders.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation of nursing care and patient outcomes.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, infection control policies, and emergency care protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team during high-stress situations.
• Participate in emergency preparedness activities, drills, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
• With at least one (1)–two (2) years of solid experience in an Emergency Room or Emergency Department (ER experience is REQUIRED).
• Training or certification in BLS, ACLS, and trauma or emergency care is highly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in a hospital or tertiary care setting is an advantage.
