We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR and Operations Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources and operations within the events industry. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process for event staff and volunteers, including posting job listings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires and volunteers, including preparing orientation materials and coordinating training sessions.
- Help manage employee records and maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation.
- Assist with organizing and executing employee engagement activities and events.
Operations Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and coordination of different projects
- Assist in developing and maintaining schedules, ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are completed on time.
- Help with inventory management, including tracking supplies and equipment needed.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any operational issues that arise during the planning and execution phases.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
