It sources accommodation and destination services from travel suppliers, aggregates and merchandises that content in the WebBeds platform, then distributes it to its global network of travel trade buyers, who sell to the travelling public.

Hotels and other suppliers - global and regional hotel chains, independent hotels, apartments, resorts, attractions, transfer and sightseeing companies and more - can sell their products to a global network of online and offline travel buyers through robust solutions that provide greater inventory control to simplify distribution, and leverage WebBeds enhanced analytics to inform inventory optimisation choices – saving costs and increasing revenue.

Travel buyers - online travel agencies, retail travel agents, corporate travel managers, tour operators, wholesalers, tourism boards, super apps, DMC's, group providers, airlines and more - can integrate the hundreds of thousands of hotels and ground services in the WebBeds marketplace through simple and seamless API connectivity, or they can search, shop and book online through one of WebBeds trade only booking sites.

WebBeds is a travel brand of the Web Travel Group (ASX: WEB).

As a Power Platform Architect, you will play a pivotal role in WebBeds' transformation initiatives by designing, building, and implementing customized solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and teams to understand business requirements, propose effective solutions, and lead the migration of existing applications to Power Platform.

This role will combine your technical expertise and consultative insights to optimize operational processes, enhance automation, and support the digital evolution of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Development: Analyse business needs and architect scalable Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents) to meet specific requirements.
• Application Migration: Work on the migration of existing applications to Power Platform, ensuring seamless integration, data integrity, and process optimization.
• Project Collaboration & Client Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide progress updates, and demonstrate solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to project timelines.
• Documentation & Process Optimization: In Partnership with the Process Reengineering lead, document process workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring clear and comprehensive instructions for operational activities. Continuously refine and optimize automated processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Data Compilation & Analysis: Compile data and collaborate with Business Intelligence (BI) teams to gather information for reporting and analysis. Utilize analytical skills to derive meaningful insights and provide data-driven recommendations for process optimization.
• Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and technical support during the development lifecycle and after deployment, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Guide team members by sharing best practices in Power Platform development and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Best Practices & Innovation: Stay informed of the latest Power Platform and related technologies, recommending best practices and innovative solutions to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

The skills we would like to see in your suitcase:

• Microsoft Power Platform Expertise: Proven experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents, with a track record of delivering Power Platform solutions.
• Application Migration Skills: Experience in migrating legacy applications to Power Platform, ensuring integration and enhanced automation.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of databases (SQL, Dataverse), APIs, and integration services.
• Automation Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with workflow management, robotic process automation (RPA), and process optimization principles.
• Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide efficient resolutions.
• Excellent Communication: Able to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration Skills: Work effectively within a team and manage multiple priorities.
