Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled finance professional to ensure daily financial integrity and lead a smooth transition from Xero to Zoho Books. This role manages the full accounting cycle—from daily transaction processing to monthly financial reporting—while overseeing accurate system migration and compliance with Australian standards. Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Daily Financial Records

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  

• Perform daily bank reconciliations across all accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  

Financial Reporting

• Generate monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports.
  

• Develop custom dashboards, including Cash Flow and Burn Rate reporting.
  

Migration Lead

• Oversee the technical migration from Xero to Zoho Books.
  

• Ensure 100% accurate data mapping and system alignment during transition.
  

• Validate financial data integrity post-migration.
  

Compliance & Regulatory Support

• Prepare BAS and IAS workpapers.
  

• Ensure superannuation and payroll tax alignment in accordance with Australian standards.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years in a Senior Bookkeeping or Assistant Accountant role.
  

Software Mastery

• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Xero.
  

Zoho Experience

• 1+ year of experience with Zoho Books (highly preferred),
  OR proven experience migrating between ERP/Accounting systems.
  

Education

• Certificate IV in Accounting/Bookkeeping
  OR Bachelor's degree in Finance.
