With a strong pipeline of works across some of Victoria's most iconic infrastructure projects, we are seeking an Estimator to join our growing team. The company is commencing its 15th year of business after experiencing significant growth following our ability to deliver various scope of tasks effectively and efficiently with numerous repeat Clients across all sectors. With offices in Sydney and Melbourne, we have the capacity to service Cairns down to Tasmania.

Our core business is focused around concrete strengthening, protection and repair of new and old structures. We often find ourselves in tunnels, on wharves, in carparks and basically any concrete structure that exists.

Our projects vary from the largest in town to small concrete repair projects and everything in between. No two projects are ever the same with each new project presenting its own challenges.

We are looking for someone to join our team to assist with cost estimating, working closely with our delivery team with quoting and tendering upcoming works.

Pre-requisites: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural engineering.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone early in their career who is looking to build long-term experience in construction estimating.

What You'll Do:
You'll be the kind of person who:

• Assist with the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions
  
• Measure quantities from drawings and specifications
  
• Request and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations
  
• Maintain pricing schedules and cost databases
  
• Assist with tender clarifications and post-tender queries
  
• Work closely with our delivery team to ensure cost allowances are in line with potential actuals
  
• Provide Project handovers to Delivery team on award of tender

• Eager to gain exposure to both small and large-scale projects across a diverse range of service offerings
  
• Comfortable taking responsibility and applying knowledge gained at university to real-world construction projects
  
• Aspiring leader with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage effectively with clients, professionals, and site teams
  
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
