    About Victorias Foods

    Victorias Foods is the meat and fish manufacturing subsidiary of Victorias Milling Company, Inc. (VMC), one of the Philippines' most established agro-industrial conglomerates in Victorias City, Negros Occidental. We produce quality frozen meat products and canned/bottled fish and meat products, with ambitions to grow from a regional Negros brand into a nationally-recognized food brand.

    We are at an exciting growth inflection point — scaling our operations, distribution, and brand presence across the Philippines.

    The Role

    The General Manager will serve as the chief operating and commercial leader of Victorias Foods, with full P&L accountability. This is a builder's role — you will shape strategy, drive sales, lead operations, and grow the business into a competitive national FMCG brand.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategy & Business Leadership

    • Develop and execute the overall business strategy, annual operating plan, and 3–5 year growth roadmap for Victorias Foods
    • Lead the transition to a professionally managed operations
    • Identify new product categories, market segments, and revenue streams
    • Report directly to the VFC Board

    Sales & Marketing

    • Build and manage a high-performing national sales force covering key accounts, traditional trade, and modern retail
    • Develop brand strategy and positioning for Victorias Foods products
    • Drive distribution expansion across Visayas, Mindanao, and Metro Manila
    • Establish relationships with key retail chains, food service accounts, and institutional buyers

    Production & Operations

    • High-level oversight on manufacturing operations including food processing, quality control, cold chain management, and plant efficiency
    • Ensure compliance with FDA, NMIS, HACCP, and other food safety regulations
    • Optimize production costs, yields, and operational KPIs
    • Manage toll packing and co-manufacturing partnerships as needed

    Business Development

    • Identify and develop new distribution channels, partnerships, and market opportunities
    • Lead new product development (NPD) initiatives in collaboration with R&D and production
    • Explore potential JVs, toll-packing arrangements, or export opportunities
    • Build and strengthen supplier and customer relationships

    Finance & P&L Management

    • Own full P&L responsibility for Victorias Foods
    • Drive revenue growth, gross margin improvement, and cost efficiency
    • Prepare and manage annual budgets, capex plans, and financial forecasts
    • Monitor and report key financial and operational metrics to the VMC board

    People & Organization

    • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership team across sales, operations, finance, and marketing
    • Foster a performance-driven culture aligned with VMC's values
    • Develop talent pipeline and succession plans for key roles

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Technology, Engineering, or related field
    • Minimum 10 years of progressive FMCG experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (GM, VP, or equivalent)
    • Proven experience in frozen meat, processed meat, or related food manufacturing (experience with national food brands or toll-packing companies is a strong advantage)
    • Strong commercial background with demonstrated success in sales, marketing, and distribution in the Philippine market
    • Track record of managing P&L, budgets, and operational KPIs
    • Experience in food safety compliance (FDA, NMIS, HACCP)

    Preferred

    • MBA or equivalent post-graduate business degree
    • Experience in both manufacturing and commercial/sales functions
    • Experience building or scaling an FMCG brand from growth stage
