We are seeking a talented Junior Manual Tester to join our dynamic team at Indra Philippines, Inc. in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. As a contract role, this position will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough manual testing. What you'll be doing

1. Executing well-defined test cases and scripts to identify and document software defects
2. Collaborating with development teams to replicate and report issues found during testing
3. Performing functional, regression, and exploratory testing to validate the software's adherence to requirements
4. Documenting test plans, test cases, and test results in a clear and organised manner
5. Participating in team meetings to discuss testing progress, challenges, and recommendations
6. Continuously learning and expanding your knowledge of testing methodologies and tools

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2. 1-4 years of experience in manual software testing, with a passion for quality assurance
3. Good understanding of software development life cycles and testing principles
4. Proficiency in writing clear and detailed test cases and bug reports
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
7. Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies, such as Jira, Selenium, or Postman
