    JOB SUMMARY

    Support the Risk Assessment and Analysis Section Head by assisting in the conduct of systematic risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks related to the Bank's information assets and operations. Collaborate with the business units to gain an understanding of the processes and provide guidance on recognizing risks and developing targeted risk mitigation strategies.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Assist in the conduct of risk assessments (ISRA/RCSA/SASRA) to identify, analyze, and evaluate potential risks that could impact the organization's operations, reputation, and financial stability.
    • Collaborate with various departments to understand risk factors and assess operational procedures for potential vulnerabilities.
    • Review historical data and industry trends to forecast future risks and their potential impact on the business.
    • Assist in developing strategies and action plans to mitigate identified risks, ensuring the organization's assets and operations are safeguarded.
    • Assist in implementing controls and best practices to reduce the likelihood and impact of risks.
    • Assist in the preparation of detailed risk assessment reports, outlining findings, risks, recommendations, and mitigation plans for senior management.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date risk records of risk assessments, controls, and mitigation actions (i.e., IT Risk Library, Risk Register, etc.)
    • Collaborate closely with the business units to ensure risk management is incorporated into business operations and that recognized risk strategies are executed.
    • Work closely with the IT Governance and Compliance Section for regulatory alignment and the Security Testing & Assurance Section for integrating findings into broader risk management strategies.
    • Assist in the implementation of the phishing testing program to assess employee awareness and resilience against cyber threats.
    • Assist in managing the training platform focusing on user access management and ensuring execution and completion of the remedial training plan for phished users.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and well-organized records of risk management activities.
    • Assist in conducting regular reviews of risk controls to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, emerging risks, and best practices in risk management.
    • Shadow the Section Head in leading projects, training, and stakeholder engagements to build readiness for managing the section independently.
    • Prepare to assume temporary leadership of the section in the absence of the Section Head, ensuring continuity of operations and decision-making.
    • Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and techniques in risk management by participating in industry forums, conferences, certifications, and training programs.
    • Perform other tasks as directed by the Section Head, contributing to the section's overall objectives and the Bank's risk management framework

    JOB QUALIFICATION

    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Risk Management, or a related field.
    • A solid understanding of the risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS).
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
