    Finance & Cashflow Manager — Family Office | Multi-Jurisdiction

    Part-time initially (≈20 hrs/week) with a clear pathway to full-time

    We are seeking an experienced Finance & Cashflow Manager to operate within a principal-led family office environment managing business, investment, trust, and personal structures across Australia, UAE, Spain, and the USA.

    This is not a transactional bookkeeping role. It requires someone who has worked with complex private wealth structures, understands the distinction between operating companies vs asset-holding entities, and is comfortable managing cross-border income, multi-currency cashflows, and jurisdiction-specific reporting requirements while maintaining a consolidated, decision-ready view.

    Scope of Responsibility

    The role sits at the centre of the family office's financial operations and interfaces directly with principals, local tax advisors in each jurisdiction, and strategy accountants as required.

    You will own day-to-day financial accuracy, ensure clean data across all entities, and translate complexity into clear, usable reporting for decision-making.

    1. Cashflow Management (Primary Accountability)

    • Build and maintain rolling cashflow forecasts covering:
    • Operating companies
    • Trusts and holding entities
    • Property assets (domestic and international)
    • Personal and family expenditure
    • Track multi-currency inflows and outflows, including FX impacts
    • Identify timing risks, funding gaps, surplus positioning, and inefficiencies

    2. Reconciliation & Financial Control

    • Reconcile all bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-entity transactions
    • Maintain clean intercompany and related-party balances
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies, duplicated charges, and leakage
    • Ensure accuracy across high-volume, mixed personal/business spend

    3. Reporting & Structure (IFRS-Aligned)

    • Produce monthly cashflow and financial summaries across jurisdictions
    • Maintain IFRS-aligned reporting structures to allow:
    • Cross-country comparability
    • Consolidated views across entities
    • Readiness for relocation, restructuring, or scale
    • Prepare management-level summaries (not statutory accounts) that are concise, clear, and decision-focused

    4. Tax & Advisor Coordination

    • Prepare Australian BAS for review and submission by the Australian tax agent
    • Coordinate with tax advisors in Australia, UAE, Spain, and the USA, including:
    • Provision of reconciled financial data
    • Support for local tax filings and compliance
    • Input into residency, structure, and timing considerations
    • Act as the single source of financial truth for all advisors

    5. Expense, Cost & Payment Oversight

    • Review recurring expenses, subscriptions, and vendor contracts across entities
    • Recommend and implement cost-control measures where appropriate
    • Manage payment scheduling across global accounts to ensure:
    • No late fees or penalties
    • Correct entity allocation
    • Proper audit trail

    What We're Specifically Looking For

    This role will only suit candidates who have worked in complex, high-trust environments.

    Essential experience:

    • 5+ years in finance, accounting, or cashflow management
    • Direct experience in a family office, private wealth, or UHNW environment
    • Strong working knowledge of IFRS (practical application, not theoretical)
    • Proven capability managing multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction structures
    • High proficiency in Xero and advanced Excel / Google Sheets
