Be part of a global organization and Infrastructure Services team as a FinOps Engineer

What is the Job all about?

You will be responsible to plan, budget and forecast future cloud spending and keep the cloud services optimized with efficient utilization of resources yet keeping the platform optimized for reliability and performance. This will be carried out together with other Departments and Product Teams in our global organization.

You will be directly reporting to the IT Director and to be based in Ortigas, Pasig City.

Your main responsibilities:

• Directly influencing the IT and budget performance of our global cloud environment by tuning and optimizing the many cloud components and instances, thereby maximizing the value of our large cloud investments
• Optimize our exciting cloud services, you will be making structured processes, such as deleting unused storage, rightsizing VM's, SQL DB's and storage, create scheduling of VM's, implement reserved instances
• Advise and recommend stakeholders in order to achieve business value and create/maintain financial accountability for Cloud Services through timely data-driven decisions

Your background:

• BS in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or relevant experience
• 1-3 years of experience with cloud technologies
• 3+ years of relevant experience operating software services in the cloud / agile platform environments
• Effective communication skills. Analytical and coordination skills
