ACCOUNTING HEAD (CPA is REQUIRED)1. Must be a graduate of BS in Accountancy, CPA (preferably).2. Must have experience in accounting3. Must have knowledge and understanding on the financial aspect ofthe hospital as well as financial audits.4. Must possess good sense of leadership and analytical skills.5. Must be a computer literate.6. Must be good in oral and written communication.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:
To lead the financial accounting team to deliver effective and efficientprocesses, developing and embedding controls that safeguards our assetsand manages risk appropriately


Specifically:

• To oversee financial transaction processing and reconciliations within thehospital including:month and end-year processaccounts payable/receivablecash receiptsgeneral ledgerpayroll and utilitiescash forecastingfixed asset activitydebt activity
• To lead on compliance with the Financial Procedures Manual, ensuringthat all procedures and policies are business focused and communicatedeffectively.
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies andprinciples
• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports orstatements
• To lead on the annual statutory year-end requirements, agreeingtimetables and responsibilities with all involved, with the primary focusbeing to achieve a clean audit
• To ensure that all Board Committees are provided with accurate, timelyand relevant information
• To lead on technical accounting compliance requirements, developingknowledge throughout the team and with other directorates whereappropriate to ensure compliance
• To support the Finance Manager with cash flow forecasting models thatsupport the hospital's strategic business plans
• To review BIR returns, providing guidance to the staff as required andfocusing on compliance
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactionsBudget management
• To ensure the proper management, reporting and forecasting of controlledbudgets, and participate in budgeting and financial management atdepartmental level as required
