Job summary
This position is responsible for the operation and monitoring of all assigned generating units and its auxiliary equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.The Production Operator will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of all assigned generating units and its auxiliary equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. The job involves assisting in pre-startup activities, performing start-up and shutdown of auxiliary equipment, conducting routine inspections, performing minor corrective works, maintaining condensate pH level within allowable limits through chemical injection,
operating lighting panels disconnect switches circuit breaker local control panels in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure SOP , recording reading critical noncritical parameters turbine generator auxiliaries field monitoring instruments log sheet trend analysis ensuring timely accurate updating plant operation tools tracking performance reporting observed abnormalities remedial action immediate correction suggesting improvements preventive maintenance programs standard operating procedure efficient safe operation accomplishing operator shift turnover checklist documenting observed risks deficiencies proper turnover mitigation attending team huddle discuss plant status safety health environmental aspects mitigate hazards deficiencies.
