    Job Summary:

    The Terminal Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operational performance of the Ilijan LNG Terminal. This role ensures that all terminal operations — including maintenance, HSE, logistics, and administrative functions — are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with international standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies. The Terminal Manager will develop and implement strategies that promote operational excellence, asset integrity, and sustainable business performance while fostering a culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide overall leadership, direction, and management of terminal operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of asset and operational integrity programs in accordance with international standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
    • Ensure the effective implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Maintenance Plans (SMPs), Inspection Programs, and Task Lists across all terminal functions.
    • Develop and manage the terminal's annual operating and capital budgets; monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with approved financial plans.
    • Establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager and other functional leads.
    • Lead the planning and execution of terminal shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize reliability.
    • Oversee the development of the terminal's staffing plan, including recruitment, competency development, performance management, and succession planning.
    • Foster strong collaboration among operations, maintenance, HSE, and administrative teams to ensure cohesive and efficient terminal performance.
    • Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, port authorities, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure compliance and operational support.
    • Ensure all required regulatory inspections, certifications, and documentation are current, accurate, and audit-ready.
    • Represent the Ilijan LNG Terminal in audits, inspections, and coordination meetings with government and corporate representatives.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, asset reliability, environmental performance, and cost optimization.
    • Ensure the terminal operates in compliance with all corporate HSE, quality, and operational standards.
    • Serve as the primary point of accountability for terminal performance and as the senior representative of the company at the site.
    • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required to support the company's operational and strategic objectives.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    Minimum Qualification:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communications, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.

    Minimum Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in LNG, natural gas, petrochemical, or terminal operations, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
    • Proven track record in LNG terminal, marine terminal, gas/liquid pipelines, or cryogenic process operations (operations and maintenance experience required).
    • Strong understanding of international safety, environmental, and operational standards (e.g., API, ISO, NFPA, OHSAS).
    • Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills in a high-risk industrial environment.
