    JOB SUMMARY:

    Responsible for the proper and timely maintenance of financial records, analysis, schedules and assists the Accounting Supervisor in the preparation of monthly financial statements and tax returns.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    BOOKKEEPING

    • Makes the necessary entries in the books and ensures that the entries are fair, valid, and are supported with reasonable details.
    • Records and posts in the general ledger (periodic accrual of expenses and revenues, depreciation and amortization, debit and credit memos, ending inventory, and cost of sales, bank recon items).

    ACCOUNT ANALYSIS

    • Makes the necessary reconciliations (various accounts including cash/bank accounts, affiliates, etc.)
    • Assists the Accounting Supervisor in preparing monthly financial statements and tax returns.

    REPORTORIAL MANAGEMENT

    (INTERNAL)

    • Maintains subsidiary records for all depreciable capital assets to show, among others, the cost, depreciation period, periodic depreciation, accumulated depreciation, and the net book value of each asset.
    • Prepares monthly schedule of certain general accounts as necessary.

    (EXTERNAL)

    • Prepares monthly/quarterly schedule for statutory reporting.

    FORMS PREPARATION

    • Prepares debit/credit memo forms.
    • Prepares Purchase Requisition forms.

    GENERAL ADMINISTRATION

    • Performs other functions as may be assigned by Immediate Superior from time to time.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
    • Good communication skills and detail-oriented
