We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant with a background in food and beverage to join our team. As a Food and Beverage Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial operations and ensuring accurate accounting practices within our food and beverage department. Your expertise will contribute to the financial success and overall efficiency of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, specifically related to the food and beverage department.
• Monitor and analyze sales, costs, and expenses, identifying trends and variances, and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and making recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.

Cost Control and Budgeting:

• Develop and maintain budgets for food and beverage operations, including forecasting revenues and expenses.
• Monitor and control costs by analyzing procurement processes, inventory levels, and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising quality and customer satisfaction.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate tracking and valuation of food and beverage inventory.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with purchasing and receiving teams to optimize inventory levels, minimize waste, and prevent stockouts.

Compliance and Audit:

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations, including tax requirements and industry-specific regulations.
• Prepare financial documentation for internal and external audits and assist auditors in their review processes.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and prevent fraud.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA not required.
• +3 Years of experience in food and beverage industry.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including cost accounting.
• Familiarity with relevant accounting software and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.
• Willing to work in BGC, Taguig City.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
