Inviting applications for the role of Consultant, Java Sailpoint Integration Engineer

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Java to integrate and support various systems, ensuring seamless operations and high performance. You will work closely with our team to enhance system capabilities and provide production support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based integrations using APIs to ensure efficient data flow between systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system stability.
• Optimize SQL queries for improved database performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
• Primary focus on Java development with integration tasks using APIs.
• Participate in SailPoint-related activities after training, including configuration and customization as needed. This role will primarily involve Java development (approx. 70%), with additional responsibilities in SailPoint after training (approx. 30%).

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Java 8 or above.
• Experience working with APIs for system integration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for database management.
• Willingness to provide production support as needed.
• Willing to be trained and upskill in Sailpoint (e.g., what is SailPoint, how to work with Java Beanshell, etc.) and apply them in real projects.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Familiarity with Beanshell scripting and XML.
• Experience with cloud technologies like AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Bitbucket or GitHub.
• Prior exposure to Identity Governance tools or SailPoint (even basic understanding)
• Understanding of AI prompting techniques
