    Work Set Up: 100% Remote

    Employment Set Up: Independent Contractor

    Schedule: GY Shift / Eastern Time

    About the Job

    Our organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will serve as a bridge between financial outputs and data operations, helping to transform large, complex data sets into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate has a expert knowledge in data extraction, automation, and visualization. This role is well-suited for someone with experience in Python, SQL, R, Power BI (or similar tools), and working with operational and financial data.

    To be successful in this role, you must be an expert in data extraction and manipulation, with the ability to work with large sets of data from multiple sources to aid in the building of advanced data sets and financial models. You must have experience with Python/R, SQL, data processing tools like Alteryx and visualization tools like Looker, Tableau or Power BI, to produce KPIs and dashboard for internal and external stakeholders.

    You must also be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving results and meeting deadlines.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and build automated reports and dashboards that integrate operational and financial data
    • Support the Finance team with data outcomes, variance analysis, and trend reporting
    • Work closely with Finance and Data Analytics to ensure data accuracy and consistency
    • Use SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc.) to analyze business performance
    • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling with a data-driven lens
    • Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline financial reporting and data flow
    • Be able to elaborate google slides presentations to senior management.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Expert Excel modeling, Python/R advanced skills
    • Ability to translate complex data into clear, business-focused recommendations
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
    • Knowledge of financial trends in the healthcare industry is a plus

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in data processing or databases management in finance or business analytics.
    • Advanced Python/R/SQL and Power BI (or similar BI tool) skills
    • Understanding of financial statements and financial KPIs
    • Expert knowledge with Excel and comfort working with large, complex data sets
    • Strong communication skills — able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
