    The Senior Accountant will work together with the Accounting Manager to support and maintain the financial needs of the company and its team members.

    Responsibilities:
    ● Manage and perform all Accounts Payable related work, including verifying that appropriate vendor/contractor/expense approvals have been collected, vendor onboarding, processing bills for payment, and issuing and maintaining credit cards
    ● Review, categorize, and post credit card and other transactions in our books ensuring that coding is accurate
    ● Help implement and manage new procurement software, policies, and processes
    ● Perform key work in month and year-end closes including:
    â—‹ Performing bank, prepaid expenses, and other reconciliations
    â—‹ Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules
    â—‹ Accruing expenses
    â—‹ Preparing journal entries
    â—‹ Reviewing data to ensure it is accurate
    â—‹ Prepare financial reports and analyses that outline actual vs budgeted expenses for a variety of key business areas including travel
    ● Work closely with our travel platform, Navan, and our employee gifting/recognition platform, Bucketlist, to ensure all of their transactions are recorded accurately in our books, and that travel credits and unused balances are tracked, recorded and used efficiently
    ● Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
    ● File Sales tax returns
    ● File 1099s
    ● Assist with audit and tax-related items
    ● Continually seek to increase efficiencies and improve processes and systems
    ● Review, suggest and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
    ● Assist with ad-hoc projects

    Requirements and skills:
    ●5+ years of experience working in comparable accounting-related roles
    ●Intermediate understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    ●AP and Procurement Experience
    ●Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
    ●Experience with Netsuite or other similar ERPs
    ●Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Vlookups (and similar), Sumifs (and similar), and pivot tables
    ●Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
    ●Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially around data accuracy
    ●Excellent problem-solving skills, though knows when to ask for help or collaboration
    ●Excellent communication and analytical skills
