Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2+ years of experience in POS system support
Strong knowledge of POS hardware, software, and networking concepts
Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to POS systems
Familiarity with common POS systems
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Customer-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering high-quality support and service
POS certification or relevant training is a plus
Job Description:
Perform On-site Maintenance services to clients within Metro Manila areas
Install service and maintain Point-of-Sales machine sets (system unit, Display unit, and scanner, and printers, Self-Checkout system), network (routers, wireless network, and modems), desktop equipment (PCs, servers, and storage units), Retail Store/Food Lockers and other technical duties
Perform Preventive Maintenance services or Asset information collection services such as recording of machine serial numbers. Maintenance services include HW break fix, SW operations issues, preventive maintenance, pro-active maintenance initiatives, installations, move/add/change machine
Resolve reported incident. If need be, escalate back to HO for assistance and for replacement Parts. Update Helpdesk System on the progress and status of the incident
