    About the role:

    To serve as the Senior Back-End Developer, responsible for crafting scalable solutions using Django. Tasked with implementing microservices, Docker, and OpenShift for optimal deployment. Designing RESTful APIs, mentoring, and ensuring efficient data management are key responsibilities. Collaborating with DevOps for streamlined deployment processes and system reliability is essential.

    Duties and responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain scalable back-end solutions using Django framework.
    • Design, implement, and deploy microservices architecture to support complex business logic and scalability requirements.
    • Utilize Docker containers for packaging and deploying applications in development, testing, and production environments.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy applications on OpenShift platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
    • Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
    • 6Implement data storage solutions using MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch, ensuring efficient data retrieval and management.
    • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Helm charts for automated deployment and scaling of applications.
    • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision making processes to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
    • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire application stack, including infrastructure, middleware, and application layers.
    • Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in back-end development, and mentor junior team members.
    • Collaborate with DevOps engineers to optimize deployment processes, improve system reliability, and implement infrastructure as code practices.

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in back-end development, with a strong focus on Python and Django framework.
    • Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture, including service discovery, communication protocols, and data storage strategies.
    Skills/Technical skills and knowledge:
    • In-depth understanding of containerization concepts and experience with Docker containers for application deployment
    • Experience working with Kubernetes-based platforms like OpenShift, including deploying and managing applications using Helm charts.
    • Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, including authentication, authorization, and data validation.
    • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, including configuring Jenkins jobs, writing pipeline scripts, and managing deployment workflows.
    • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues across distributed systems.
    • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, including data modeling, querying, and optimization.
    • Familiarity with Elasticsearch for implementing search functionality and data indexing.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
    • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira for project management is a plus.
