    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Public Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, audit, and budgeting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Accounting Innovation:
      • Ensure internal controls and accounting processes meet the company's standards by documenting existing methods, conducting critical reviews, and implementing improved practices as necessary.
      • Address financial issues/concerns within the accounting department that require immediate attention.
      • Collaborate with the Administrative Department as needed.
      • Document all accounting procedures operated by Ed-Jire Herbal Products and its sister companies, review, and recommend improvements.
    • Accounting Operational Excellence (in collaboration with External Accountant):
      • Prepare financial statements for external reporting or BIR compliance.
      • Prepare income tax returns to be filed with the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
      • Generate monthly profit or loss and analytics for submission to management and audit.
      • Prepare monthly supporting schedules for submission to audit.
      • Review tax returns to be filed with the BIR.
      • Review BIR Form 2307 for suppliers and banks.
    • Accounting Operational Excellence (independent as Accounting Manager):
      • Lead and motivate the team towards achieving Wildly Important Goals (WIGs).
      • Coordinate with departments regarding bank requirements.
      • Review and approve transactions and journal entries (collections, accounts payable set-up, accruals, payments, etc).
      • Provide reports on actual versus budget for each department using revolving funds.
      • Review the Daily Collection Report.
      • Coordinate with the admin department for procurement or billing requirements.
      • Manage the accounting department and subordinates in Bonavita and sister companies.
      • Provide necessary accounting trainings to team members.
      • Evaluate BIR compliance and prepare for surprise inspections or audits.
      • Verify bank transactions.
      • Provide internal accounting reports to management.

      Requirements

      • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business, or related field.
      • 2-3 years of relevant experience in the field.
      • CPA certification is an advantage but not required.
      • Willingness to work on-site in Maybunga, Pasig City.
      • Ability to start immediately.

      Estimated Salary: PHP 50,000 - 80,000 per month (negotiable)
