    About Us

    Elan Education is New Zealand's leading law tutoring company, supporting approximately 800 students annually across Auckland, Otago, and Wellington universities. We're launching a refreshed website and shifting our marketing operations to HubSpot - and we need a sharp frontend developer to help us get there.

    The Role

    This starts as a project engagement: take our in-progress WordPress/Elementor site from ~50% to launch. The site needs to look polished, load fast, and convert visitors into leads. Once launched, the role transitions into ongoing part-time support covering site maintenance, SEO improvements, and occasional custom development.

    Phase 1 - Site Launch (Project)

    • Complete and launch a new WordPress site built on Elementor (template-based, not from scratch)
    • Ensure all pages are responsive, fast-loading, and conversion-optimised
    • Integrate HubSpot forms, tracking, and CRM sync
    • Build a dynamic events section that automatically displays upcoming events and removes expired ones
    • Set up the site so non-technical team members can update content confidently

    Phase 2 - Ongoing Support (~5 hrs/week)

    • WordPress core, theme, and plugin maintenance and updates
    • On-page SEO improvements and performance optimisation
    • Minor feature builds and design updates as needed
    • Support marketing team with landing pages and campaign assets
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly

    What We're Looking For

    • Strong WordPress and Elementor experience - you can take a template and make it look custom and professional
    • Good design eye - you build pages that look polished and convert, not just pages that "work"
    • Experience integrating HubSpot (or similar marketing tools) with WordPress
    • Ability to build CMS workflows that non-technical people can manage
    • Solid understanding of responsive design, page speed, and basic SEO
    • Reliable, communicative, and available during NZ or Singapore business hours
    • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

    What Will Make You Stand Out

    • Portfolio showing WordPress sites you've built that look genuinely impressive
    • Experience with dynamic content (e.g. custom post types, automated event listings)
    • HubSpot CMS or HubSpot integrations experience specifically
    • Light PHP/JavaScript ability for occasional backend tweaks
