    As a fast-moving startup, we are building a results-driven marketplace — and we are looking for a performance-oriented team member to help drive merchant growth and revenue.

    About the Role

    We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Specialist (Merchant Growth) to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for acquiring high-quality Singapore-based merchants and supporting the execution of showroom events that generate measurable revenue.

    This is not an administrative role — it is a revenue-focused position where performance and outcomes matter. You will play a key role in expanding our merchant network and ensuring that newly onboarded merchants successfully generate sales through our platform.

    This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to company revenue and growth in a structured, performance-based environment.

    What You'll Do

    Merchant Acquisition & Growth

    • Identify and qualify reputable Singapore-based merchants in categories such as Home Fittings, Renovation, and Home Improvement.
    • Conduct strategic outreach via email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and other professional channels.
    • Present the FindGroupBuy value proposition clearly and professionally.
    • Handle objections and guide merchants toward participation in group buy campaigns.
    • Ensure merchants are aligned with our business model before onboarding.
    • Target approximately 5 high-quality merchants per month.
    • Quality is prioritized over volume.

    Event Coordination & Revenue Support

    • Coordinate with merchants to prepare for estate-based showroom events.
    • Confirm event mechanics, promotional offers, and readiness.
    • Ensure merchants are properly prepared before each event.
    • Follow up after events to track performance and outcomes.
    • Support efforts to improve merchant revenue performance over time.
    • Maintain structured reporting on event revenue.
    • Your success is measured not just by merchant sign-ups — but by revenue generated.

    Sales & Data Management

    Maintain organized tracking for:

    • Merchant outreach pipeline
    • Activation status
    • Revenue performance
    • Track merchant revenue within 90-day performance windows.
    • Provide weekly activity and performance updates.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of merchant status and event results.

    • Strong Communicator: Excellent written and spoken English, confident in professional B2B outreach.
    • Revenue-Oriented: You understand that success is measured by revenue generation, not just activity.
    • Results-Driven: Comfortable working in a performance-based structure with clear targets.
    • Organized & Accountable: Able to manage outreach pipelines and event coordination systematically.
    • Proactive & Persistent: Comfortable with cold outreach and follow-ups. You are not discouraged by objections.
    • Independent & Resourceful: Able to work remotely with minimal supervision while delivering measurable outcomes.
    • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Notion, email platforms, LinkedIn, and CRM-style tracking systems.
    • Professional & Credible: Able to represent a Singapore-based platform confidently when speaking with business owners.

    • Previous experience in B2B sales or merchant acquisition
