An aesthetician in an aesthetic clinic is a skincare specialist who performs various treatments to enhance the appearance and health of clients' skin. Their job description typically includes:

• Consultation: Conducting thorough consultations with clients to assess their skin type, concerns, and goals. They may also inquire about any medical conditions or medications that could affect treatment options.
• Skin Analysis: Performing skin analysis to determine the appropriate treatments and skincare products for each client's needs. This may involve using magnifying lamps, skin scanners, or other tools to assess the skin's condition.
• Facial Treatments: Administering a variety of facial treatments such as cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, masks, and moisturising. They may use techniques such as manual extractions or advanced technologies like microdermabrasion, chemical peels, or microcurrent therapy.
• Skincare Procedures: Performing specialized skincare procedures such as laser hair removal, photofacials, microneedling, dermaplaning, or radiofrequency treatments to address specific skin concerns like acne, aging, pigmentation, or texture irregularities.
• Product Recommendations: Recommending and selling skincare products for at-home use to maintain and enhance the results of in-clinic treatments. This includes providing education on proper skincare routines and product usage.
• Client Education: Educating clients about skincare best practices, lifestyle factors that impact skin health, and the benefits and risks of different treatments. They may also provide advice on sun protection, diet, and other aspects of skincare maintenance.
• Sanitation and Safety: Adhering to strict sanitation and safety protocols to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for clients. This includes proper sterilisation of equipment, disposal of single-use items, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of client consultations, treatment plans, and progress notes. This documentation helps track client progress over time and ensures continuity of care.
• Continuing Education: Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in skincare and aesthetics through continuing education courses, workshops, and industry conferences.
• Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service to ensure clients feel comfortable, valued, and satisfied with their experience at the clinic. This includes addressing any concerns or questions clients may have before, during, or after treatments

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience working in a spa, salon, or medical aesthetic setting is often preferred.
• Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of skincare principles, skin conditions, and treatment modalities. Skills in performing facial treatments, using skincare equipment and technology, conducting consultations, and providing exceptional customer service are essential.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are crucial for building rapport with clients, conducting thorough consultations, and explaining treatment options and skincare recommendations clearly.
• Attention to Detail: Aesthetic procedures require precision and attention to detail to ensure safe and effective results. A keen eye for assessing skin conditions and identifying potential contraindications is essential.
• Professionalism: A professional demeanour, including maintaining confidentiality, adhering to ethical standards, and representing the clinic in a positive manner, is essential for success in the role.

Pay: Up to Php18,000.00 per month
