Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or equivalent education/experience.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience processing end-to-end payroll within professional payroll applications.
- Has 2 years supervisory experience
- Demonstrated experience handling multi-state payroll, tax filings, or high-volume data entry.
Must Have:
- Regulatory Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of applicable payroll practices, wage and hour laws, and tax regulations. - HR Integration:
Strong understanding of human resource management principles and how they impact payroll processing. - Independent Execution:
High level of self-motivation and the ability to manage individual daily workflows with minimal oversight. - Effective Communication:
Excellent written and oral communication skills for coordinating with internal departments and explaining payroll details to employees. - Precision:
Keen attention to detail to ensure 100% accuracy in data entry and financial calculations. - Problem-Solving:
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies or system errors. - Time Management:
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet strict processing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Customer Service:
Exceptional customer service orientation when assisting employees with payroll-related questions. - Team Collaboration:
Experience working effectively within a team-oriented, collaborative environment to meet department goals. - Confidentiality:
Professional ability to handle sensitive information in a manner that protects employee privacy and data security.
