    About The Role

    We have an exciting opportunity with an Australian-based accounting firm looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper. You will be part of an accounting back-office team and support them.

    The duties and responsibilities of the Bookkeeper are;

    • Facilitating bank reconciliation
    • Generating and importing bank statements
    • Processing and monitoring Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
    • Reviewing and processing payroll
    • Preparing client work for Business Activity Statements and year-end reporting requirements
    • Preparing Quarterly Auto Super in Xero
    • Checking and processing bills in Xero
    • Managing Income Activity Statement monthly preparations
    • Preparing EOFY Single Touch Payroll and Taxable Payment Annual Report
    • Communicating with clients where necessary
    • Managing admin and accounting work of superannuation accounts
    • Assist in other administrative tasks as required

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or any related field is preferred
    • Experienced in Bookkeeping and Accounting
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
    • Proficiency in any accounting software
