- Manages the planning and delivery of storage capacity architecture.
- Duties may include management of design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, and performing needs assessments.
- Analyzes current business practices, processes and procedures as well as identifying future business opportunities for leveraging data storage and retrieval system capabilities.
- Manages relationships with software and hardware vendors to understand the potential architectural impact of different vendor strategies.
- Managing capacity efficiency of Production Servers including Windows, Linux, Solaris and Azure server platform CPU, Memory, Disk, Network and Storage focus for managing/monitoring Capacity efficiency.
- Analyzing trends of under utilization as well as examining over utilization events.
- Minimize the adverse effect on the business of Incident and Problems caused by capacity and availability related issues in the Infrastructure and to proactively prevent the occurrence of such incidents and problems.
- Responsible for monitoring IT availability levels, comparing actual levels against targets and addressing shortfalls.
- Analyzing transaction growth and historical usage trends to make sure Capacity is aligned for future consumption.
- Ensures the creation, maintenance and use of Capacity Management Information System (CMIS).
- Enable capacity planning for Infrastructure services / applications and support developing scalability plans by supporting management of the CMIS system.
- Continual improvement of Capacity and Availability Management process.
- Build and present Capacity & Availability dashboard and reports on IT Infrastructure feature to clients.
- Familiarize and stay up-to-date with the emerging tools and technologies to improve the efficiency of Capacity and Availability Management.
- Bachelors degree
- 5+ years extensive experience in IT Service Management role with demonstrable experience in core Capacity and Availability Management
- 6+ years' experience in the IT business field
- ITIL 4 Foundations knowledge or related certification
- Global business experience preferred
- Experience and knowledge of Capacity and Availability management principles, methodologies and tools
- Good understanding on Servers, Network, Voice and Storage concepts
- Experience in continuously driving BAU ITIL Capacity, Availability and Performance Management
- Strong knowledge on crafting capacity and availability plan
- Experience on capacity and availability monitoring and diagnosing the problems to improve the availability of IT services
- Excellent Skills in Analysis, Reporting and ability to present and communicate in small and large group settings
- Effective communication skills - written, verbal, listening
- Customer Focused with a high degree of professionalism
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
- Due to 24x7 global aspect of the customer, must be able to adjust to a flexible schedule as required, may require minimal travel
- Proficient level and experience in MS Office, Excel MSWord, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio and Project

Manages the planning and delivery of data warehouse and storage architecture. Duties may include management of design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, and performing needs assessments. Analyzes current business practices, processes and procedures as well as identifying future business opportunities for leveraging data storage and retrieval system capabilities. Manages relationships with software and hardware vendors to understand the potential architectural impact of different vendor strategies, ensures the development of proper training and documentation for Enterprise wide technical architecture, systems use and maintenance, and planning and integrating next-generation technologies into the architectural strategy. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Roles can have an internal or external client focus. May involve company-hosted, web-enabled solutions or may include project-based jobs in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions.
The position will work across IT Services organization to ensure that required IT infrastructure and resources are available and efficiently utilized. The position will interface directly with the client and act as a Liaison on behalf of Stefanini. While this role will have no direct reports they will lead the Capacity and Availability team's Account Liaisons in their day-to-day interface with the client.
