About the role
Southern Arms Corporation is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hotel in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all aspects of the hotel, from guest services to facilities management. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cagayan de Oro.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
- Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
- Develop and implement operational strategies and policies to improve efficiency and profitability
- Manage and lead a team of department heads and supervisors
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators and make data-driven decisions
- Liaise with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to align operations with business goals
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior operations role within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations and leading high-performing teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in using hotel management software and other relevant technology
- Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
