Job Summary:
The Tax Manager for the Tax ROW Management Unit leads the specialized right‑of‑way tax function, overseeing all complex tax matters arising from right‑of‑way acquisitions. This strategic role serves as the primary authority on all engagements with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), including audits, valuation disputes, land classification issues, and the negotiation of tax liabilities involving Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Documentary Stamp Tax (DST), and other related taxes.
The Tax Manager provides strong, high‑level tax leadership by driving the resolution of contentious tax exposures and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also delivers proactive tax guidance to minimize risks, protect the organization from potential financial exposure, and safeguard project delivery timelines.
