Job summary

The Customer Sales and Service Associate (CSSA) handles both financial and non-financial customer transactions,
  • Processes over-the-counter transactions such as cash and check deposits withdrawals encashment/check payments bills payments miscellaneous/sundry transactions
  • Maintains working supply of cash within the prescribed limit accountable forms Performs end-of-day balancing of own transactions including issued accountable forms Processes opening of accounts ensures only one customer RM record is used Conducts KYC Know Your Customer Explains clearly the terms conditions to customers Ensures all KYC transaction documents are complete scanned properly safe kept/filed Scans signature cards transaction documents prepares KYC documents for sending to scanning center Proactively asks clients update their customer contact information bank records applicable Handles request for amendments/updating customer bank records Secures proper approval for transactions beyond authority limit Conducts enhanced due diligence EDD on customer transactions applicable Maintains an acceptable level of branch operations consistent internal policies procedures standards regulatory requirements Conducts end-of-day balancing cash immediately reports any discrepancy Performs assigned custodianship functions Acts secondary/alternate custodian cash other accountable items designated Safeguards own passwords assigned keys at times Informs clients returned checks asks disposition Prepares warning collection closing letters clients improperly handled accounts Prepares outgoing mail/pouch dispatch Processes payment branch expenses Ensures upkeep workstation branch premises Adheres security safety health protocols e.g. social distancing etc Acts contingent C-signor system upon approval Area Business Director applicable CSSA with least job level B Attends promptly client transactions inquiries requests provides client feedback Performs cross-selling defined list Personal Banking customers leads from Customer Relationship Marketing CRM programs Encodes available reporting tools document results client conversations On-boards clients promotes usage digital channels Performs other functions may assigned time Additional Responsibilities Reporting Team Reporting Designation Reporting Department Educational Qualifications Preferred Category Field specialization Degree Academic score Institution tier Required Certification/s Required Training/s Industry Role Years experience Key Performance Indicators Required Competencies Required Knowledge Required Skills Physical Other Work Environment Details Specific requirements Travel Vehicle Work Permit Other Details Pay Rate Contract Types Time Constraints Compliance Related Union Affiliation
