- Owns fist-level Basis, Security and SAP Application Infrastructure incident-handling
- First point-of-contact for Operational Support and Maintenance for ECC, BW, PI, POSDM and upcoming SAP installations in the group landscape
- Assist in administration of ECC, BW, PI and other SAP installations in support of Implementation Projects
- Assist in SAP Upgrades [including certifications] and System copies;
- Assist in performance tuning of SAP installations;
- Assist in authorization setup and fine-tuning for SAP installations;
- Assist in Language Pack deployments;
- Assist in patching of SAP installations;
- Execute Backup and Restore procedures;
- Execute administration and monitoring of all Linux environments;
- Execute administration and monitoring of all Oracle databases;
- Facilitate all internal and external audits;
- Facilitate SAP License Audits;
- Monitor performance;
- Establish interaction with Local IT when required
- Interact with SAP support when required.
- Should have at least 3 years of IT Administration experience, 2 years of which focusing on SAP Basis or NetWeaver administration and support
- Experience in installation and upgrades of various SAP installation components such as ABAP, Java, DB and OS layers
- Familiarity with Linux OS platform and Oracle DB platform
- Experience in performing technical configuration and customization in ABAP, JAVA and other layers of SAP application
- Experience in Solution Configuration and Administration with focus area on Automated Technical Monitoring and Change Request Management
- Experience in backup and recovery concept, design and procedure
- Familiarity of SAP Ecosystem, Support Processes, Support Offerings and value-add solutions
- Understanding of HANA system design is added advantage
- Willingness to work on a shifting model
- Willingness to work outside office hours and during weekends whenever required
- Readiness to travel across countries for implementation
- Excellent track record in terms of meeting project tasks and schedules
- Documentation, Presentation, Communication, Service Management and Teamwork skills
