Together, we operate GetaFIX, the biggest Internet eXchange in the Philippines that helps the efficiency of content and connectivity in the country. We also operate Open Access Network, a Fiber as a Service offering that helps reduce complexity for developers and telecommunication companies while increasing customer satisfaction.

Duties and responsibilities

• Preparation, and filing of the required taxes of the Group which includes:
• Final and Expanded withholding tax
• Withholding tax - compensation (filing only)
• Value added tax
• Income tax
• Preparation and submission of the required attachments which includes
• QAP/ AAP
• SAWT
• SLSP/ VAT Relief
• Preparation of Revenue Regulations No FS Disclosures and assistance in ensuring that other tax related accounts during financial audit are accurate
• Assist in ensuring that the Group is in compliance with LGU and/or PEZA requirements
• Perform tax reconciliation entries and analysis, tax schedules for external and internal users
• Prepare for, and assist with, tax audits and due diligence engagements
• Assist in tax innovation, document legacy and other ad hoc projects such as tax clearance applications, tax inquiries, meetings with the BIR
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate in the following fields: BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, Internal Audit, and/or Accounting Technology
• With Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is a plus
• With at least 2-3 years experience in rendering tax related working and/or accounting tasks
• Willing to go on fieldwork and dealings with different government agencies
• Must be knowledgeable on MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools (Google Docs, Gsheet, Gslides)
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures, follow through on issues and prioritize effectively
• With excellent analytical skills, which include the ability to gather relevant information, process and interpret data, and solve problems
