- Contribute to maintaining and evolving the enterprise data architecture blueprint, including data platforms, data products, integration patterns, data models, and data flows.
- Support evaluation and standardization of data platforms, tooling, and architectural patterns aligned with enterprise standards and data governance requirements.
- Support architecture reviews and governance forums by preparing design artefacts and ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture, security standards, regulatory requirements, and data management policies.
- Support integration of data architecture solutioning into enterprise delivery and AICoE/DSAG processes to provide timely, AI‑ready data architecture input from early design through execution.
- Design end‑to‑end data solution architectures across the data lifecycle—from source onboarding and integration to data serving and consumption—aligned with enterprise standards.
- Apply reusable data patterns and components (data products, canonical/semantic models, integration/streaming patterns, metadata/lineage, and access layers).
- Design data products for reuse and discoverability; support monitoring of adoption/usage to promote reuse before build and reduce duplication.
- Provide architecture support to resolve issues across performance, data quality, lineage, and integration dependencies.
- Deliver assigned architecture outputs on scope, quality, and agreed timelines/SLAs, escalating risks and dependencies as needed.
- Contribute to AI/GenAI solution design where required as part of the group's ongoing convergence of data and AI architecture capabilities.
- Perform proof-of-concept and/or proof-of-value activities and well as drive pilot projects of emerging data management (with AI) platforms and technologies to accelerate adoption by the business teams.
- Apply data architecture standards and guardrails across the data lifecycle, including quality, lineage, documentation, privacy, and appropriate use requirements.
- Work with Data Governance, Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Risk teams to ensure data solutions comply with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and enterprise risk frameworks.
- Support adherence to enterprise data governance frameworks through design guidance, evidence preparation, and review follow‑through.
- Work with business units and delivery teams to translate data needs into solution architectures and roadmap inputs that support analytics, AI, and GenAI use cases.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Cloud, Security, and AI teams to integrate data platforms and data products with enterprise and AI solutions.
- Participate in Architecture Review Boards and technical councils, providing data architecture inputs and supporting cross‑domain decisions.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing by documenting patterns, lessons learned, and reusable assets across data and AI architecture domains.
- Continuously upskill in modern data platforms, streaming, data product practices, and governance standards.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; cloud/data certifications are a plus.
- 2+ years in data engineering, solution design, or architecture roles (or equivalent experience); experience in regulated industries preferred.
- Working knowledge of data modeling, integration patterns, metadata/lineage, data governance, and AI‑ready data architectures.
- Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Experience with modern enterprise data platforms, streaming technologies, data product practices, and cataloging/discovery capabilities is preferred.
- High-quality AI architecture designs delivered on time and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Increased reuse of approved AI patterns and components across initiatives.
