    Job summary:

    As a Business Support Manager (Vice President) within the Commercial Banking Business Support Management (BSM), you will have the unique opportunity to provide superior administrative coverage to our businesses. You will promote the delivery of on and off-boarding support of employees Internationally for the Commercial Banking, incorporating talent development and mobility, objective performance evaluations, and compensation for the team. You will also be a key partner in the execution of projects and events where administrative support is required. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast-paced and challenging area.

    This role promotes superior administrative coverage to the businesses as well as drive the delivery of on and off-boarding support of employees Internationally for the Commercial Banking. This incorporates talent development and mobility, objective performance evaluations and compensation for the team and unified communications. This role is a key partner to our businesses in the execution of projects and events where administrative support is required.

    Commercial Banking Admin Management is a function within Commercial Banking Business Support Management (BSM) which provides centralized resource management and governance for the administrative professional's organization.

    The business support management function is tasked with a variety of business administration and control responsibilities. Candidate must be comfortable working with all levels of senior management and will have to provide general support of day-to-day business functions.

    Job responsibilities:

    • Build the International Admin platform for APAC per plans
    • Lead day to day team activities andmanage a team of Executive Assistants across one or more Lines of Business' in the APAC footprint, acknowledging location nuances as required by country regulation (recruiting, hiring, training and integration)
    • Act as a strong partner to the Lines of Business leadership teams to ensure Admin support is appropriately aligned to business priorities
    • Drive strategy for business coverage, building bench strength and improvements to business support in concert with each business
    • Ensure exceptional and efficient end to end administrative service delivery and business coverage
    • Ensure administrative staff are fluent in key policies and business practices (i.e. Expense Policy, On/Off-boarding etc.)
    • Manage the oversight, training, reporting and governance of all Admin team member execution of local event and sponsorship activity
    • Ensure team members are trained and adept in new responsibilities for events, Catalyst, MS Office support, etc. and providing strong leverage to the business
    • Own all facets of the performance management process and compensation recommendations to ensure all firm requirements are completed thoroughly and timely (gathering feedback, writing reviews, and recommending annual performance ratings).Partner closely with other Commercial Banking Admin managers to continue to drive consistency in the model
    • Drive Line of Business and Commercial Banking-wide initiatives and adhere to all risk and control policies
    • Continuously partner with Business Support Management Global Employee Onboarding & Solutions Lead and team in Manila to refine the on and off-boarding experience for APAC Commercial Banking staff andmaintain regular communication with key stakeholders

    Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

    • A minimum of 10+ years of senior level administrative or other functional management experience, preferably in a large financial services organization
    • Declared professional working and native level bilingual proficiencies in foreign languages (Japanese/ Mandarin professional to native levels can read and write in these languages)
    • Prior international and matrix leadership experience
    • A strong track record in successful people, business, and project leadership at both a national and international level
    • Exceptional communication skills- confident, organized and clear. Can effectively interact with all organizational levels
