About the Role
Tallant Asia is seeking an experienced
Offshore Centralised Bookkeeper
to support a portfolio of franchise stores. You'll be responsible for accurate, timely, and standardised bookkeeping, payroll, and reporting, ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards. This role is process-driven, execution-focused, and key to keeping our franchise operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and manage accounts receivable/payable
- Record sales, receipts, and supplier payments accurately in Odoo
- Process payroll, review timesheets, and ensure compliance with awards (using Tanda)
- Support month-end and quarter-end close, including financial reporting and BAS preparation
- Work closely with the Support Office to maintain consistency and quality across multiple stores
- Ensure all source documents and financial data are secure and compliant
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Formal bookkeeping or accounting qualification
- Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience
- Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (Odoo preferred)
- Payroll experience (Tanda or equivalent)
- Understanding of Australian GST, PAYG, and payroll concepts
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
- Excellent written and spoken English
Desirable:
- Experience supporting multi-entity or franchise businesses
- BAS preparation experience
- Exposure to Australian retail or hospitality payroll awards
- ERP system such as Netsuite or Pronto is highly desirable
