- Define and maintain a comprehensive test strategy across web, mobile, and API platforms
- Establish quality gates across environments (Dev → Staging → UAT → Production)
- Own production release sign-off and ensure all deployments meet QA standards
- Track and report quality metrics such as defect density, test coverage, regression pass rate, and defect escape rate
- Lead and mentor the Manila QA team, including performance management and career development
- Drive the test automation roadmap targeting 70%+ coverage on critical workflows
- Ensure automated tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with US and India engineering teams on release readiness, sprint planning, and quality initiatives
- Deliver weekly quality reports and participate in architecture and design reviews
- 5–8 years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Proven experience designing test strategies for web, mobile, and API platforms
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Postman/Newman)
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test plans, work items, and reporting
- Experience testing mobile applications (iOS & Android)
- Strong API testing experience including REST and GraphQL
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration
- Understanding of cloud environments (AWS/Azure) in relation to testing
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- ISTQB certification
- Healthcare or HIPAA compliance testing experience
- Accessibility testing knowledge (WCAG 2.1)
- Security testing awareness (OWASP basics)
- Experience with AI/ML or LLM testing

About the role: We are looking for an experienced QA Manager to lead quality across our web, mobile, and backend platforms. This role will manage the Manila QA team, define testing strategy, drive automation adoption, and ensure production releases meet the highest quality standards.
Work Shift: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Work Setup: Hybrid (first 2 months); WFH (after 2 months)
Work Location: Makati City
Contract Duration: 6 to 12 months (extendable depending on the project)
