Job Summary:

The Pharmacist Manager oversees the overall management and operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. This role combines both administrative and professional responsibilities, including supervising pharmacy staff, managing inventory, and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medicines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with FDA, DOH, and PDEA regulations.
• Dispense and review prescriptions accurately and safely.
• Provide professional advice and counseling to customers regarding proper medication use, side effects, and health promotion.
• Lead and manage a team of pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Oversee inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and monitoring of stocks to prevent overstocking or shortages.
• Implement and monitor compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
• Prepare and submit required reports to government regulatory agencies.
• Conduct staff training and development to improve service quality and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor sales performance, set targets, and execute operational plans to meet company goals.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the pharmacy area.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve operational issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Registered Pharmacist (PRC license holder).
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a community or retail pharmacy setting.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmacy laws, FDA, DOH, and PDEA requirements.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficient in computer systems and pharmacy POS applications.
• Willing to work on weekends or holidays as necessary.
