    The Data Policy Specialist reviews the existing policies and framework in data management to identify gaps and issues. The role is vital in understanding the "what" and "why" of the issue and formulation of the policies and framework that improve data management lifecycle process of the bank. The specialist should be able to articulate the policies and framework and get the agreement of senior management for implementation.

    How you'll contribute:

    • Analyze problems, possible risk and issues and identify gaps in Data management policies and work together with business and subject matter experts in formulating the policies and framework that address the problem
    • Coordination with Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy Officer, and Risk teams to ensure policies and framework are aligned with legal, compliance and risk framework
    • Checking and ensuring policies and framework are implemented by respective business units
    • Educating business owners of User Managed Data (UMD) on the framework and registration process and providing guidance on the activities to comply with Data Policy team requirements
    • Work with business analysts in governing User Managed Data (UMD) files for loading into Cloud Data Platform
    • Writing business user requirements owned by Data Policy team to enhance data management in the bank

    What we're looking for

    • Experience in data management and setting up of policies and framework is a must.
    • Experience in working in the banking industry and knowledge of products and services is an advantage
    • ability to communicate, influence and coordinate with different business units including more senior officers of the bank
    • business writing skills and power point presentations in a clear, concise manager.
