Job Role : Senior Laytime Analysts (Tankers)
In this role, you will work with Laytime/Demurrage calculations. The role requires you to have a thorough understanding of charterparties, key laytime/demurrage terms, contracts and provisions related to the voyage. Knowledge and understanding of terminology used in the petroleum industry and dry commodities businesses, marine and terminal operations is a requirement.
Responsibilities :

• Ensuring customer instructions are being followed to avoid any errors during the processing of the calculations
• Good understanding of contracts, charter parties and key laytime/ demurrage provisions and the terminology associated with laytime in order to perform an accurate calculations.
• Identify issues or cases that need to be included in our practices and procedures, to help other team members who may have similar situation – build learning
• Identify process methodologies to improve both productivity and quality
• Co-ordinate with the documentation team for accuracy in document collection in order not to miss any document requirement as per the CP / contracts and also ensuring that laytime is submitted within the time bar
• Build and maintain customer instructions to assist the team in when processing tasks for this customer
• Occasionally carry out quality check of laytime processed by others in your team, ensuring all instructions and CP terms have been correctly considered.
• Identifying ambiguity in CP terms and recording the same for training purpose.

• Bachelor's degree
• Good knowledge of written & spoken English.
• A minimum of 4 years work experience from a shipping company, of which at least 2 years' experience working in the post fixture team and with laytime claims
• Ideally, you have managed laytime claims for a vessel owner
• Great if you have experienced working remotely for at least 12 months and are comfortable with being a remote contributor.
