    The role of the Security Analyst is to capture, assess and store the proof required to assist in the in the internal Security Audits conducted. The Security Analyst will assess risk level and identify and recommend mitigating strategies to risks in supporting the National Information Technology Security Office.

    Key accountabilities

    • Assisting with the review and capture of Internal Audit proof and key controls.
    • Assess new technology to ensure it is in line with the Global Security Policies.
    • Define, develop, and implement processes and procedures to support NITSO team.
    • Perform security risk assessments and cloud assessments, and co-ordinate audit and compliance assessments.
    • Triage projects to ensure appropriate levels of security due diligence are applied.
    • Provide information security reporting to both the local senior leadership.
    • Develop effective partnerships throughout KPMG locally, regionally, and globally.
    • Keep up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and security threats happening globally.

    Experience/knowledge

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Security, and Internal Audit.
    • Familiar with security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, GDPR.
    • Experience in conducting workshops with business owners to support risk assessments.
    • Experience in conducting or supporting security and cloud risk assessments.
    • Preferable security certification such as CISSP, CCSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISA.
