The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient order fulfillment, and strict compliance with company policies and the Code of Conduct. The role ensures operational discipline, productivity, and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising warehouse staff and daily operations (receiving, picking, packing, dispatching).
- Monitor inventory accuracy and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of products.
- Support implementation of warehouse systems and process improvements.
- Monitor staff attendance, productivity, and compliance with company rules.
- Investigate discrepancies, damages, or inventory losses and prepare reports.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Logistics teams for smooth fulfillment.
- Enforce safety standards and workplace discipline inside the warehouse.
- Assist in training new warehouse personnel.
