    The Lead System Administrator is responsible for the overall administration, maintenance, and support of the commission platform (e.g. Xactly Incent). This role will lead a team of system administrators, ensuring the platform operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to industry best practices and security standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of system administrators.
    • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
    • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.

    System Administration:

    • Manage all aspects of the commission platform (e.g.Xactly Incent), including configuration, data integrity, and performance optimization.
    • Implement and maintain system upgrades, patches, and hotfixes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly and effectively.
    • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address potential problems.
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the system.

    System Governance:

    • Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides, SOPs, and system architecture diagrams.
    • Establish and enforce system access controls and security policies.
    • Conduct regular system audits and compliance reviews.
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, HR, and sales, to gather requirements and implement system enhancements.

    Operations:

    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the platform, including data loads, user provisioning, and report generation.
    • Provide technical support to end-users on system usage and troubleshooting.
    • Conduct system training sessions for new users and administrators.
    • Collaborate with system support to resolve complex technical issues.

    Project Management:

    • Participate in and lead projects related to system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
    • Ensure successful project delivery within agreed-upon timelines and budgets.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience as a system administrator for compensation and/or commission platforms, preferably Xactly Incent.
    • Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of system administrators.
    • Strong understanding of platform architecture, data models, and APIs.
    • Experience with system integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
