We are looking for skilled and detail-oriented Certified Inpatient Coders to join our growing healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- 1–5 years of Inpatient Medical Coding experience
- Certified CPC/CIC (AAPC) or CCS (AHIMA)
- Experience handling Teaching Hospital or University Hospital accounts is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding guidelines
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable WFH setup
Responsibilities:
- Review inpatient medical records and assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes
- Ensure coding compliance with coding guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Query physicians or healthcare providers for missing or unclear documentation
- Collaborate with auditors and clinical documentation teams when necessary
- Stay updated with coding regulations and industry updates
- Meet turnaround time and performance metrics
