We are seeking a highly capable Commercial Real Estate Attorney to support an active investment and transaction team. This role exists to offload real legal work currently handled internally and is ideal for an attorney who understands how deals actually move—not just how they look on paper.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role covering commercial real estate transactions, corporate law, securities compliance, and legal operations.

What You'll Be Doing

Commercial Real Estate & Transactions

• Review and mark up standard and transaction agreements including NDAs, SNDAs, estoppels, and lease amendments
• Draft and maintain template agreements (AAR/TAR leases, TIC agreements, basic amendments)
• Coordinate legal due diligence for acquisitions and refinances
• Review and provide input on ALTA surveys, Phase I ESAs, zoning reports, PCAs
• Assist with title-related issues and objection letters when required

Corporate & Securities Support

• Handle entity formation and ongoing compliance (LLCs and corporations)
• Manage statutory agent filings, annual reports, and entity records
• Maintain organizational charts and entity maps
• Support securities-related documentation, including Form D filings, subscription agreements, and accredited investor verification letters

Compliance, Research & Internal Legal Support

• Track and manage loan covenants in coordination with asset management
• Conduct targeted legal research and deliver concise, practical written memos
• Review routine marketing communications for legal and securities compliance
• Assist with new hire onboarding, including offer letters, employment agreements, and tax forms

What We're Looking For

• Licensed Attorney or Juris Doctor (JD)
• Demonstrated experience with commercial real estate transactions
• Working knowledge of corporate law and securities compliance
• Strong drafting and document management skills
• Able to operate independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment

• $10–$13/hour
