Customer Service Specialist - Paranaque, Metro Manila

- Receive and review import documents from clients and non-vessel operating common carrier partners to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with the Sales Department to confirm account arrangements prior to shipment release.
- Prepare system job entries for shipments without a Yusen Bill of Lading and send pre-alert notifications to internal and external teams.
- Issue pre-alerts and arrival notices to clients promptly.
- Prepare shipment forecasts and advise clients on delivery requirements for import cargo.
- Communicate vessel delays and provide daily updates on customs processing and shipment status.
- Collect Letters of Authorization from consignees for container deposit refunds and coordinate payment approvals.
- Monitor shipment delivery progress until the empty container returns, and update clients on any potential additional charges.
- Record delivery dates for door-to-door shipments accurately in the system.
- Obtain client approval for incidental charges, including detention, storage, and demurrage.
- Coordinate Container Terminal Facility replenishment requirements with customers and terminal teams.
- Collect Equipment Interchange Receipts for customers not using company trucking services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A graduate of any 4-year course (Preferably a graduate of BS Business Administration major in Customs Administration for Import or any related course)
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Experience in Customer Service, experience in the Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry is a plus.
- This position is on a contractual basis for a period of 5 months.
Daily Rate: Php 695/day.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and shipment management systems.
- Willing to work in Sucat, Parañaque
