- Oversee inventory of all heavy equipment, light vehicles, and tools.
- Ensure proper equipment deployment to project sites.
- Monitor equipment utilization and efficiency.
- Maintain updated equipment database, including service records and documentation.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Supervise repair works for heavy equipment and vehicles.
- Ensure timely troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
- Coordinate with external service providers for specialized repairs.
- Reduce equipment downtime and operational delays.
- Supervise mechanics, technicians, and motorpool staff.
- Assign daily repair and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor performance and productivity of the repair team.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards.
- Prepare annual maintenance budget.
- Monitor repair costs and spare parts usage.
- Control expenses related to fuel, lubricants, and consumables.
- Evaluate cost-effectiveness of repair vs. replacement decisions.
- Coordinate with Purchasing for spare parts acquisition.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts.
- Conduct supplier evaluation for parts and repair services.
- Prevent overstocking or shortages of inventory.
- Ensure all equipment meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Monitor validity of registrations, permits, and insurances.
- Implement safety procedures in motorpool operations.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and audits.
- Submit weekly and monthly equipment status reports.
- Provide downtime analysis and corrective action plans.
- Report major breakdown incidents and root cause analysis.
- Recommend equipment replacement when necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- Preferably Licensed Mechanical Engineer (advantage but not required).
- Minimum 5–8 years experience in equipment management or motorpool operations in construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment (excavators, backhoes, dump trucks, cranes, loaders, etc.).
- Experience in preventive maintenance systems.
- Knowledge in inventory management and cost control.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and reporting.
- With strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
- Willing to work in Calamba, Laguna
