Finance and Accounting Associate

Key Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance
Prepare and file tax returns (Income Tax, VAT, OPT, withholding taxes, etc.)
Process government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, HDMF) and manage books of accounts
registration and renewals
Ensure timely compliance with BIR monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual requirements
2.Government & Regulatory Processes
Prepare and submit documentary requirements to government agencies
Coordinate with clients, BIR, SEC, LGUs, and other relevant agencies
Monitor, track, and report the status of compliance and regulatory submissions
3.Financial Audit & Reporting
Prepare working papers and schedules for audits and financial statement reconstruction
Perform tax reconciliations, adjust trial balances, and draft financial statements with notes
Assist in audit fieldwork and support returning audit clients
4.Internal Finance & Administrative Support
Support Mage Partners' internal finance functions, including billing, invoicing, and cashflow
and expense tracking
Maintain organized client and internal financial records and documentation
- Update time charges and prepare regular client and government status updates
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
2 to 5 years of relevant accounting or tax experience
CPA license is an advantage
