    Your Job

    Molex Integrated Products Philippines, Inc., is currently seeking a contribution motivated Equipment Engineer to join our dynamic Plant Engineering team. The ideal candidate will lead the Equipment Maintenance Team in support for Production equipment on a 24/6 operation. Maintenance engineer serves as the key technical resource for the manufacturing operation focusing on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and problem resolution for electronic/mechanical equipment issues. Also plays a key role in continuous improvement.

    You will work closely with cross-functional internal teams such as Production Line Workers, Engineers, Supervisors and management.

    What You Will Do

    • Conducts regular equipment audits to identify recurring issues and implement preventive actions for productivity, quality, and safety improvement.
    • Plans and execute preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.
    • Collaborate with vendors to source parts, substitute OEM parts with economical options, design/test improved parts, and update outdated electronics.
    • Define, purchase, and monitor inventory and use of spare parts and equipment.
    • Prepares and submits regular machine downtime reports with corrective actions to reduce downtime, defects, and scrap, reviews with maintenance team.
    • Monitors installation and improvements of machines and accessories.
    • Assists in performing maintenance and repair work on production equipment.
    • Supports and leads technicians in molding, soldering, and crimping operations.

    Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

    • Engineering graduate of (EE/ECE/CoE/ME).
    • 3-5 years of experience working with electrical, electronic and mechanical maintenance in an industry.
    • Previous experience in Injection Mold, Soldering and Crimping Machine operation.
    • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Windows/MS Office applications
    • Ability to solve problems via advanced technical knowledge, complex analysis and theory testing.
    • Knowledge in specialized machinery, equipment and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of production equipment.

    What Will Put You Ahead

    • A record of success in implementing lean manufacturing concepts for continuous improvement.
    • Knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures or maintenance systems.
    • Knowledgeable in AutoCAD/ Solid works.
    • Experience in machine/equipment troubleshooting and ability to lead the group of Maintenance Technicians.
