As a Design Manager with specialized experience in horizontal developments and resort/leisure projects, you will take a leadership role in guiding and overseeing the design process of projects within these specific domains.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and design requirements for horizontal or resort/leisure developments.
• Design Management: Manage the design process from the property developer's perspective, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives
• Design Quality Review: Review designs produced by design consultants to ensure that designs meet Rockwell standards, while adhering to relevant codes and regulations. Work closely with engineers to ensure interdisciplinary collaboration, consistency, and coherence in design outcomes.
• Specialized Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge and experience in the design management of horizontal and beachfront developments including marina facilities, ensuring the integration of unique features and considerations for each project type.
• Research and Development: Compile and analyze research such as but not limited to design innovations, benchmarking results, competitor check, research studies, industry standards and the like.
• Construction Support: Provide guidance and support during the construction phase, collaborating with construction teams to address design-related challenges and modifications.
• Undertake miscellaneous tasks and assignments as required, showcasing versatility and readiness to accommodate shifting project demands.

Requirements:

• Licensed Architect or Interior Designer
• Proven experience in Design Management or related role
• Proficiency in software and tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
• Knowledgeable in project/design management and other design trades
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
