Job summary
The Role As a Retirement Analyst for Consulting supports the delivery of quality Retirement solutions covering plan valuations design & review including plan conversions plan administration and other retirement benefit services The Retirement Specialist may also get involved in insurance health and other risk projects requiring actuarial support Performance Objectives Excellence Provides assistance to the Project Managers and Consultant/Senior Consultant in the following areas Data preparation validation & reconciliation Assumption setting Actuarial valuation of retirement plans including the use of WTW standard valuation software Analysis of valuation results Plan benchmarking design and costing Retirement plan set-up review and harmonization Benefit projections and individual benefit calculations Other projects requiring actuarial skills other employee benefits insurance HMO etc Prepares the following reports Actuarial valuation reports for local funding and accounting standards local and international purposes Comparative plan summaries upon request of clients Drafting of plan rules Presentation and sales materials Assists the Project Manager/Consultant/Senior Consultant in the presentation of results Qualifications The Requirements Bachelor Degree required preferably in a program with a heavy emphasis on mathematics statistics or other related fields Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply Strong client relationship interpersonal team skills Strong written verbal communication skills Ability to ask the right questions seek help where appropriate Ability to respond effectively on time Flexibility proven ability diagnose resolve issues strong client service orientation Demonstrated leadership qualities Ability work independently teams enjoy fast-paced environment Sense accountability owning own work taking pride it Self-starter interest continually challenging oneself willing step outside comfort zone Interest ability think beyond task hand understand one s work fits broader landscape Excellent Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel Background accounting finance investment economics WTW is an Equal Employment Opportunity
